Reserved their back room for a private party - it was free to reserve, which is awesome, but I was told it held 20-25 people. It held about 15 comfortably. I pre-ordered 5 platters and they only brought us 4 - we asked where the other sandwiches were bc people were hungry and they said they ran out of time. Too bad bc they were delicious. The veg platter I ordered was mostly bell peppers with some carrots. It went uneaten, definitely not worth the $30 price tag. I was told I didn't have to worry about pre-ordering sangria pitchers, but they had run out of what we wanted by the time we arrived (9pm). The cocktails left something to be desired. The bar was very crowded and getting drinks took a while. My party was a little antsy from the small space and long waits - we were glad to get out of there at 11:30 to go somewhere else. The owner was very nice, but they were too busy to offer a good service. It was a disappointing start to my birthday. Wouldn't recommend for a large group, but personally wouldn't return for drinks even if alone (but maybe the sandwich).

expensive and boring...

This place is so close to being amazing. The service was excellent, the decor is amazing and the wine and cheese were incredible. My two major complaints: 1) the portions are way too small, even for a sampler plate there's basically a knife sliver which doesn't allow for much tasting. 2) the music is way too loud. I had to shout at points to overcome the overhead sound which was blasting into our table. I would go back regularly if those things changed - there are few places like this in Williamsburg.

I live above this place and it tempts me daily! Beautiful, delicious, decent prices. Highly recommended!
