    I love this place!

This is a teeny tiny hole in the wall of a place, but the savoury pies really hit the spot! The brussels sprouts are great too. My only wish is that they had a larger beverage choice. Otherwise, I've no complaints; and I've come here for lunch many times.

    zehr gut, mate!

On a stroll I stopped in for a traditional beef pie, and a lamb and veggie pie for $5 each. Both fresh, tasty and excellent flavors. Lamb was minty, beef had hint of spice. Crust was toasted but not thick. Decent size but not big-- might need two to fill a hungry stomach. Can't wait to try the other menu items.

    Go Outback Right Now

one of my favorite east village spots. the people are the really friendly, the pies and rolls are made and baked on site, and the bill is small. i can't tell you how many friends i've got hooked on this place. don't forget to ask for the thai hot sauce.

    OutbackVirgin

My first visit to this place. Small hole in the wall shop that could easily be passed by. Had veggie pie that was very good, but bit smallthough only $5. Limeade for $3 was to die for. No place for a sit down. Cheerful service. Will go again to sample other interesting choices.

    What a bargain!

My wife and I ate there and we were both pleased. We had a beef pie and a bbq pork pie that were delicious. We also had a pork roll that was just ok. However, all that and 2 sodas was only $18. Very filling and satisfying. Well worth it!

    rock solid feed

If you know what pies are all about, c'mon go get one. If you dont, give em a try. They are bakery style, so connoisseurs will have opinions but there is not doubt that they are a top feed, the best comfort food around. Personally i like the more exotic ones like the curries and shrimp.
