Tasty, healthy food in a relaxed environ

I've been a loyal customer for 3 years now. My favorites are the barley soup, salmon, and flat noodle dish. It is a bit pricey for tibetin food, but the ingredients are always fresh, so worth it i guess. The only thing that troubles me is that the last 2 times I've gone, the food didn't taste as good -- did they change chefs? Hopefully not. It's a mellow environment.

    Great food

Great food. The service was lackadaisical, perhaps they just had one server and the place was crowded. Will try them again. The desserts are lacking (pricey, nothing great).

    Awsome, unique!

Not many people have eaten tibetan in their day, but after trying this place it's a new favorite! The portions a a bit small, but the spices and quality of the food here is absolutely amazing and unmatched!! The chicken melted like butter in my mouth, and the whole fish was very well-seasoned. The staff is very humble and fairly attentive. Go try this place and learn to love tibetan food!

    Very nice place

I went there with my wife from NJ. The place is little dimely lit. Ppl with glasses might have to use the candel for reading the menu.Try the steamed momos with a hot sauce for starters. Yum! I had the apple sauce salmon. It was cooked to perfection. I was not too impressed with the service. They forgot to get out momos and we waited for 30 mins for our check. The atmosphere inside and outside the resturant is very lively. I would go there again.

    Great service!

The venue is exceptional and very nicely decorated. The staff there were very friendly. They provided personal service which was added a nice touch to it. Will definitely go back!

    So pretty

Stopped in for apps. What were they, momos? Some kind of dumpling anyway. Chicken and a ginger garlic hot sauce, a little too spicy for me, but not my fiery dinnermate. Most of the food is a little spicy but there are some nice vegetable dishes, good and fresh and not overcooked. Excellent quality rice, of course. Good fresh juices too. The waitresses are so pretty in their little Tibetan qipao and the service is fast and friendly. The place is dimly lit with little candles and so romantic. And the bathroom is large and clean. Afters looked good, but I couldn't pass up the chocolate gelato at Taraliucci on 1st & 9th, so I can't tell you...

    Lovely dining experience

I come here for dinner regularly to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The dining room is absolutely gorgeous, very zen-like atmosphere, and servers are dressed in traditional tibetean wear. The food is excellent, very home cooked tasting, and the prices are reasonable. Great for a date, or a dinner after a stressful day.
