Trump Grille Review
Trump has figured in a very high a service charge in every meal. The price you pay isn't worth the food or service. I'd suggest that Trump himself have a meal and talk to customers because this is a disaster.

We got hosed...
Of all the places in NY, we picked the Trump Grill for lunch largely becasue of the Trump brand. We were thinking that this has to be first rate. Well, not $200+ for lunch for 5 and a HUGE disappointment. Service started with the hostess leaning on the podium...we should have walked away right there as we seemed to interrupt her. The server was inattentive. Forgot my wife's salad, empty glasses, meals were not delivered at the same time. Finished meal to delivery of dessert was 20 minutes. I was embarrassed for my family. And finally, literally, everything was cold except the milk (not warm...cold). Waste of time, money, and a statement about the Trump name. Stay away. Far away.

Never again
My friend and I had the pre-fix lunch, each for $20 (and change) We both have the salad as an appetizer. Reaaaaaaaaally small portions. For the entrée I had the marinated chicken (which was dry and flavorless) my friend had the burger which was good. For dessert my friend had sorbet which was so-so. Now I had the “Brownie a là mode” which was a microscopic portion, consisting of a square (1” by 1”) I could not believe my eyes. Quietly I informed our waiter about the unreasonable size of the brownie and he told me – if you buy the $45 lunch then the portion will bigger. I found this outrageous and ridiculous.

Great Food, Up Scale Enviornment!
I came up from Florida for the week to see me family. While doing some regular sight seeing we came along the Trump Tower on 5th Ave-heard they had clean public restrooms. Anyways, we saw the grill there, quite busy (we wanted to see what the fuss was about) and a $20.09 prefix lunch, and other menu items that weren't too bad in price either. The food was great, staff was friendly and informative. The bartender was awesome-one of the best cocktails I've had in awhile. ALSO what completed the trip was that this restaurant is actually where Donald Trump dines, I know because I saw him with his family there!! So if you're looking to see a celeb, and have a good relaxing meal, this is the place.

Good service, great deal!
I was hesitant to come in here at first (not a big Trump fan) but we were glad we did! We had the Fixed Priced menu for $20.08 which comes with an appetizer, entree and dessert. Huge portions and surprisingly delicious. Our server was an absolute doll-she was eager to please but never too pushy and a beautiful smile too. All in all a great deal.

Excellent value .. we liked!
We opted for the Prix Fixe Lunch as for $20.08 we couldn't say no! The service was fine apart from the waiter who grunted uh huh, when thanked! lol Penne Alla Trump Vodka was delicious, my husbands Trump Burger was, I'm told, very tasty. It certainly looked good. Brownie and ice cream was yummy. No complaints from us.

Time for a new holiday tradition
We always looked forward to our yearly holiday visit to the Trump Grill in Trump Towers on Fifth Avenue. This year was a surprise. Still as crowded as we knew it would be, but the food left much to be desired. Apparently much of the restaurant staff (who were there in previous years) have moved on. (per our server) Last year the Chef signed a menu for our son (a prospective cook) and chatted with us. How sad to see he had left. Still we could not resist some Ice Cream and I had to buy a Tie. Next year we'll eat first.
