Great spot for a treat
I am former Manhattanite and current Park Sloper. The treats here are just about the best you will find anywhere in the city inventive and perfection.

Not bad, but really expensive
I like to get my coffee here from time to time, and everyone's nice, but the prices on everything are astronomical. It awkward to put your milk and sugar in the coffee when there's anyone else there, the arrangement really doesn't make good use of their space. oh, and how about a squirt bottle for the syrup? or a syrup bottle even!

Plants? Lighting?
I'm not sure why the previous poster spent any energy re: below. This lovely, relatively recent addition to the 'hood is a gem. Incredibly friendly Gorilla coffee (made better than over at Gorilla) and the pastries are some of the best I've ever enjoyed. The muffins, scones, original creations... BTW - if you see Emily's homemade "oreos," which should be outlawed they're so addictive, I dare you to try to eat just one.

Delicious Cupcakes
This is a nice, new spot in Park Slope. There is a plush, red couch on which one can sit and enjoy delicious cupcakes or homemade ice-cream & cone! A little on the expensive side, but worth it. Very friendly service. The patisserie's only weakness is its decoration. There is something off about the atmosphere - a bizarre combination of lighting? Too many dying plants? Cleaning materials out in the open? However, it has a ton of decorative potential - a beautiful brick wall and gorgeous antique mirrors. For a tasty treat in a nice spot, this place is great. I believe it's relatively new, so go check it out!
