Don't bother with Tribeca Treats
Place is adorable but the cupcakes are dry and tasteless. Ordered two and the girl threw them into a bag, when I asked why she did that - she replied that boxes are given for min. of 4 cakes. She was not nice. I offered to buy a box but it was too late. Honestly I should have given them back to her and walked out but since I am local I don't like to burn bridges. Kids at home took one look at the smooshed cakes - frosting all over the inside of the bag - and wouldn't touch them. Total waste of money.

I liked it for some things...
I love the chocolates and the cookies but the cupcakes are alright. Good size and taste for kids but I need something that has a bit more flavor. If you go here, get the dark chocolate cashew bark. It will rock your world and it is a good value to boot!

Great Cupcakes, Great Icing, & Service
I LOVE cupcakes and I find that most trendy cupcake places are overrated. This place is my favorite yet. The chocolate icing I have identified as French Silk Chocolate Icing. My mother makes it from baker's unsweetened chocolate, vanilla, butter, powdered sugar etc. and has been making it for over 30 years. Tribeca treats perfects this recipe and the cake is great too. The cupcakes are small. I needed two to satisfy my crazy cupcake craving. Sort of pricey but, not prohibitively expensive by any means. Highly recommended!

Very disappointing
The cupcakes were not good. I was not impressed at all. They cake was were dry and flavorless while the icing was all sugar. The cookies were ok. I wouldn't waste my money though.

Snobby Ownership and Service
When I first walked into the place, I thought it could be cute. But once I started looking around I noticed that not only are the employees snobbish but the owner was also cold and fake. I reluctantly still ordered a cupcake which was ok, but only ok. I will never go in there again because quite honestly, there are so many other places that I would rather give my money to.

Tips from a regular
I have been a "regular" at Tribeca Treats for months and am particularly addicted to the S'mores cupcake or anything with the cream cheese icing! A word of advise: if you're going to eat the cupcake right away, ask for one of the ones they have at room temperature. They keep most of the cupcakes in a refrigerated case (I guess because of Health Department?), and when eaten cold they give the false impression of being a little drier. You'll definitely find it's worth the wait to eat it at room temp, though I must admit, I often can't wait....
