    Sunday brunch

It was a beautiful day today on a Sunday afternoon in TriBeCa I sat outside it was a little cool. The brunch is the way to go for excellent healthy food and price I ordered the endive salad with spiced pecans, apples and goat cheese as the appetizer. The entree was the spinach ravioli with card and a nice light sauce and other goodies. Pasta can be heavy but this was perfect. Oh they bring you a basket of bread rolls, muffins and other nice breads. The price $19 ! I will be back and for dessert feast your eyes on poster size photos Robert de Niro movies in the hallway to the restroom.

    nice place

nice place in a former industrial atmosfere. Food was okay, expected more vegetables. Rather expensive for what you get.

    Very good

We had dinner tonite to celebrate a friend's birthday and this is a group that loves to eat. Appetizers were amazing, that crabcake and the salad was just yummy. 2 of us had the roast bass and I usually don't like fish skin because of its slimey texture. I ate it because it was so crunchy. One friend raved about his short rib and the other the steak. Our waitress was attentive without being pushy, we were not pressured to order alcohol like in some restaurants. I want to come back again for sister's birthday.

    Great dining experience!

Great food, comfortable atmosphere, and probably the best service ever experienced!

    Stellar service

Definitely among the beat service i've had in NYC! Restaurant week menu was a great value and they certainly don't skimp on the amount of food!

    New Years Experience

We have been going out with the same group for New Years Eve for a few years now, always to highly recommended restaurants, usually featuring a band and a prix fixe menu. This was, by far, one of worst experiences we have had yet (and one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in my homw town of NYC in general). The food was, simply put, inedible and aptly described by one in my group as "no better than bad airplane food." The appetizer was unimaginitive, had no taste and, in at least two cases, made two in our party sick. The pasta course, which was the best part of the meal, was mediocre at best. The fish option for the main course was, simply put, repulsive and the beef option equal to bad banquet food.

    least favorite of his places

Went last night after not having been for MANY years. Service was good and the place was only about 1/4 full at 7:30PM. Appetizers were the beet salad, the pea soup and the braised octopus. These were all just fair and oversalted. Main courses were the halibut (oversalted also), the steak and the snapper. Panecotta. The food was all just mediocre at best and not worth the money at all but a good place for a drink on your way to somewhere else.
