Where's Your Beef?
My wife and I were in the area and came across this little gem called Tri Tip Grill. The reviews on MenuPages looked good so we went in to try it out. Let's just say we came back the next day! I had the Big Buck with onions and Au Jus. They asked if I wanted the bread toasted and I agreed -- glad I did -- it was perfectly toasted with a nice crisp. My wife had the Yik Yak Salad with Chicken. This thing was HUGE! She couldn't quite finish it but said it was one of the best salads she's ever had. Even despite not finishing, she had to have it again the next day, ha. Great spot, a must check out while in NYC!

The Best Steak Sandwich ever!
My daughter and I loved the "little buck", the Cabo Chopsalad and the sweet potato fries. It truley was the best steak sandwich we had ever had. The steak was flavorful, not at all salty to me. It was tender and lean. The salad was very fresh and and large enough for two people. The edible bowl was crispy and delicious. We ate there two days in a row. The first day, the SPF were not very hot. The next day, we mentioned this to the counter person and she was very apologetic and made sure the second days' fries were hot and delicious. I hope I find another Tri-tip Grill soon! To be in NYC, where food prices are high, I felt like we had a great value.

Try another place in Roc Ctr instead
I should have known from the loud and cheesy 80's music that was blasting in and out of Tri tip that my expections should be low, but I was duped by the other reviews on menupages. The meat is extremely salty and tastes like it has been well preserved with plenty of msg. Very poor quality for the price. Stick with the other venues in Rockefeller Center.

Get the roadhouse salad
I've been here 3 times now, and this was the first time that I tried a salad -- the roadhouse. It's topped with bleu cheese and fried onion string things. I added tri tip to it and it was really really tasty. The dressing had honey in it and was still a vinagrette. I'll be getting this again soon.

Amazing
If you have never had tri tip before, you NEED to check out this place. Tri tip is a cut of the curloin, and man is it tender and delicious! These guys know what they're doing ... it's like going to a really good steakhouse but you get your food in 5 minutes. Amazing.

Great Tri Tip
I have eaten a lot of Tri Tip and this was some of the best I have ever had. It was so good we ate there twice while in New York

Awesome
This is my favorite spot in rock center. The tri tip platter is amazing, and great value. 8 oz of steak plus mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. I've never seen something like this served quick service. Tri tip was med rare as advertised and not too salty as some of these reviews say.
