    Uggh

Just had lunch. They microwaved a frittata! It was soggy, steamy, tasteless - and expensive for what it was. Room was nice though and service was friendly.

    Disappointed

Dined at Trestle with two friends last night. That had to be the slowest service and food preparation I have ever experienced. But that would have been fine had the food been worth the wait. It just wasn't. We had a large sampling, as well: quail risotto - the risotto, although supposed to be slightly crunchy on the inside per this preparation, was hard and like eating tic tacs. The butter lettuce salad was good, but it would have been hard to mess that up. The cheeses and meats were good - probably the best part of the meal. We also had the entree scallops and the pork loin. The pork was ok, the scallops mediocre as well. The Pizokel was chewy and bland. The wine list, though interesting, was overpriced. Overall, I was completely disappointed. We didn't stay for dessert because it had already been almost 3 hours just getting our dinner and we did not anticipate it being worth the wait.

    Disappointing

Had dinner there tonight. it was an awful mess. steaks came out cold and we had a rude waiter. If you are willing to spend 2 hours there and be served cold food alongside horrible service, this is your place. One upside, the hostess was wonderful.

    Tempted on Tenth

While strolling along the other evening, I passed Trestle, looked at the window menu and decided to pop in for dinner. I am so glad I did. I was greeted warmly and asked where I would like to sit. The lovely outdoor garden was tempting, but I sat in front near the bar area. And what a wonderful meal it was. The food was fresh and delicious. A very welcomed addition to this neighborhood.

    Swiss Miss

Too much money ($55 for wine, salad, entree) when all was no better than good.

    Wonderful ambience with great food!

I'm still in awe over the lovely dinner I had last night with a friend of mine, and both of us are picky diners! To start with the atmosphere, perhaps due to arrival of spring was charming! The lovely garden in the back will sure to become my hideaway from fast pace of the city! The food was amazingly delicious, and I found it affordably priced for such quality. I had salmon and my friend enjoyed the roasted chicken. The wine list, although not too extensive has good choices priced moderately, as well. I will be back!
