    Great meal and value

The pasta and wine selection are both great. I'm still thinking about the black spaghetti 3 days later. Service was impeccable, very friendly and eager to please. Desserts were phenomenal, especially the panacotta. Will definitely return.

    Great Addition to the Neighborhood

What a pleasant surprise. I have lived in Nolita for years and the corner of Bowery & Kenmare was always a bit of an eye sore. Travertine is a big step in the right direction. The food is excellent, and not at all expensive for this part of Manhattan. The ambience is great for dates and groups alike. The one thing that could be slightly improved is service, since it was very hard to understand our waitress and she brought out one item wrong...though she fixed it immediately and i am almost hesitant to complain here because she was very attentive, and it was clear that she was trying very hard. Overall a solid A experience - will most definitely be back!

Sadly disappointed from this new place

I heard about this place and wanted to check it out with some girlfriends over the weekend. The area is not very nice expecially at nighttime. I think the waiter was "in the weeds." Food took way to long, then was not very good, expecially for the price paid. Sadly, my red wine was the best thing there and I could've stayed in Uptown for that :-(
