Only Game in Town, er, in neighborhood
Live down the street from PP and am a big Italian food fan. That said, I've been very disappointed by this restaurant on too many ocassions. It's hit ot miss with the food, decor is fine, but certainly older and a little worn, but the service is the problem. At times seems like they're doing me a favor by waiting on me? I'm not high-maintenance at all, so never understand this. Feels very much like a diner from that standpoint... get you in and out. Also, ordered anti-pasto last time in and waiter grabbed what he liked and dropped the plate on our table. Crazy rude or clueless, I have no idea. Anyway, think they do ok because there is no Italian option anywhere close. Hope that someone sees this, leases the space across the street and opens an Italian option!! : )

One of my favorites~
My boyfriend and I have been dining at this wonderful restaurant for the past 3 years, and we both love the food, ambience and service that is always consistently good. It's definitely a neighborhood gem!

Charming and good value
We stopped in on July 4 and had a wonderful dinner. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgable. I had read the previous reviews and cannot believe it was the same restaurant. They even had my favorite squid ink black sauce with squid on pasta. If we needed something, whichever waiter was close got it for us. The food is fresh and delicious. We would not hesitate to go back.

Scratch this one off my list of restaurants
I don't know what happened to this once quaint, reasonably priced and okay cuisine. Food is so so, but it's the service that is truely lacking here. They keep raising the prices and lowering the portions of their meals. There has been no acknowledgment of my husband and I as returning patrons. That would be okay if the food was good, but lately we feel the service as well as the food has gone downhill. We went there tonight and it will be for the last time. We refuse to patronize an establishment where there is no appreciation of customer loyalty.

You get what you pay for
Cheap Italian food, lousy service but filling and affordable. Good if you are hungry and want nothing more than a cheap filling meal

Great gone bad
This used to be our favorite affordable Italian restaurant in Midtown but they hiked the price 40% and decreased the servings so you get less food for your $$$. The food is still good but the value is not what it used to be. We’re not going back

Can't miss!
I make it a point to eat here when I travel to the City. I’ve eaten there 6 or 7 times. Always made to feel at home, great prices, nice portions, never been disappointed. Seafood risotto for under 15$ in Manhattan! Room is a little tight but cozy. Very nice cold anti pasta.
