After reading all of the positive reviews, we were excited to order from this neighborhood restaurant. The food took over an hour and twenty minutes to arrive and when it did, the order was incomplete. We called the restaurant to get the items that never arrived credited back to our card. This was apparently problematic as they refused to do it. After asking to speak to a manager I was hung up on. The food was mediocre at best. The experience may be pleasant when dining in the restaurant...but the service for delivery was deplorable. Stay away from this place....there are too many friendly places willing to provide customers with good food and service.

We were looking for a neighborhood type restaurant to have a great dinner. So happy we found this one. I looked at many places online and for some reason this one sounded really good. We were not disappointed. We walked in at about 8pm on a Friday evening and were seated immediately. That said, it look as though we got the last available table ! I had the grilled Striped Bass and my husband had the grilled Veal chop...both were excellent. We started with one of the best Caesar salads ever ! The service and friendliness of everyone was fantastic too. We will definitely visit again.

We eat at Trattoria Pesce Pasta at least twice a week, and there is no better Italian Restaurant in the city. The chicken specials vary, and each of them are a favorite, no matter which is on the menu. The chicken parm has to be the best in the city, no doubt about it. And if you like mussels, they are comparable to those served in the South of France, and that says it all. The waitstaff are friendly and professional. They are courteous, warm, and inviting. The restaurant is run by Bruno, who is a most welcoming and charming host. He prepares many of the dishes himself, and all are delicious --- makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Most all tables have a view of the outside, where the Queensborough Bridge lights up the night. As for atmosphere, the place is very relaxing after a hard day of doing whatever it is you have been doing. Overall, the highest rating in all categories --- Quality, Atmosphere, Value, and Service, and you won't get better than that anywhere. Try it if you have not ---- the many regulars and tourists will all say it is an extremely pleasurable dining experience!

My husband vist this restaurant at least 3 times a month. The service is extremely attentive, the food is reasonably priced and like home cooked Italian. We've never been disappointed, and have gone here for years--and by the regulars we see in the place, so have a lot of others. Place is accomodating to families, and is for 'more mature' clietele as well (who care more about the food than the somewhat tired, but still charming, decor).
