Ate here with two friends and all of our dishes were of poor quality. Mushroom appetizer was drowning in dressing. The pasta dishes were unevenly cooked. We couldn't wait to leave. The atmosphere is cute for a neighborhood place, but nothing else about it is.

The place looks really cute from the outside so been wanting to check it out. The sea bass was bland which I was really surprised about. They did serve us a dessert wine afterwards that was amazing. Amabiance gets a thumbs up and food gets a thumbs down.

We live in the neighborhood and I read the prior reviews. The online menu looked good and so we decided to go a Sunday Night. The place was pretty. We were seated next to a noisy couple so we moved. We tried the quail and polenta - tough meat and soggy polenta. Then we had the mushrooms and mozzarella. The balsamic was so bitter and cheap tasting, I could barely eat it. Then we had two pastas. Her was eggplant and penne - totally ordinary. I had the pasta with ragu meat sauce. I could hardly find any meat. The pasta was so overcooked and not al dente at all. Needless to say, we won't be back.

casual yet nice, white tablecloths, friendly and fast service. wine list is short, mostly italian but quite reasonable, averging around 40 a bottle for a drinkable Chianti. we ordered completely off their specials menu - tomato, basil, and very fresh delicious mozzerella salad; pear, goat cheese, pinenut, and arugula salad; the osso buco (yummy and falling off the bone, a bit disappointingly served with pathetic white rice); and the filet mignon in a peppercorn cream sauce (good but very rare although we specified medium rare). we also had a nice chocolate mousse cake for dessert with complementary spumanti (sweet, sparkling, dessert wine). good for a quick, hearty meal where you don't need a reservation even on a saturday night!

Went here several months ago with my girlfriend and had a terrible experience. I figured with the great reviews they have, I would give it another try. Boy was I wrong. I don't see how people can like this place. My 1st experience I ordered the Osso Bucco. Let's just say it was under cooked. Osso Bucco is supposed to be cooked all the way through. The 2nd time, I ordered the Sliced Rib Eye special, highly recommended by the waiter. Ordered it medium rare. The dish that came out was "cheesesteak meat" extremely over cooked. Sent it back and 2nd time round it was under cooked. Let alone having to $34.00 for this subpar dish. Much better Italian in the area. If you go, perhaps order off the menu or stick to pasta, I've been unsuccessful with the specials. My girlfriend's salmon was also extremely dry.

We have been there several times and it it definitively our favorite restaurant in the area. The only thing I would wish is if the would change the "daily" specials more often, almost all of them have been on for the last 8 weeks...
