I live nearby and have been coming here for months. The food is always fresh & well prepared, definitely get your money's worth, atmosphere is cozy & great date spot, and the owners & servers are awesome. They also have a great back garden when it's warm out. Love coming here!

our bartender recommended this restaurant. It was a few blocks from our hotel. First, the atmosphere was great! The food was awesome! The wait staff was very knowledgeable! You could tell that this is go out for the neighborhood. I am glad we found this great restaurant!

From someone who had been to Italy many times, this place ranks very high in my opinion. The sauces are subtle, very integrated and flavorful. The service is great. The atmosphere is real and warm. We will be back and tell others about this place.

I cannot recommend this place. I got some ill conceived veal special with a mushroom cream sauce...veal was over breaded and chewy (didn't mention it was breaded, wouldn't have gotten it had I known). The girl got a pasta dish that was passable but not good. Wine comes from pre-opened bottles that I assume are just refilled (tho I obviously don't know). I got the feeling that they're not Italian. In general, I would not recommend it. Not expensive but there is plenty of good food with decent prices in the area. Go somewhere else.

Warm and welcoming service combined with well prepared menu choices and well-priced wines makes this Northern Italian restaurant a great neighborhood gem! It's still somewhat of a secret but quickly becoming a 'go to' for couples and singles who want delicious food with 'no attitude'.

When I was in New York on vacation I wanted to find italian food. Thinking that the best place to find that would be little Italy. Dead wrong. Its a tourist trap. Belvedere is a block from the hotel Avalon. The atmosphere was great. After I salivated over the creamy cheese rich pasta, I complimented the chefs enthusiastically who turned out to be the waiter and the chef. After we finished our meal he came out and gave us a complimentary tiramisu. This was the best I had ever had. I left full and closer to my family and friends ever before. Leaving feeling like a family friend

Went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and ordered the linguine pescatore which was described as containing shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops and calamari. There were no shrimp, no clams, 3 or 4 mussels, a sprinkling of miniature scallops and calamari.
