Great Italian
Their pizza is wood oven thin gourmet with fresh ingredients. They have a lot of great pasta dishes and friendly service. The Salmon Belvedere is amazing. They have veal, fish, and great desserts.

Eh...
Just as a caveat, I travel to Italy quite often so I might have high standards... I was craving some quality pasta for lunch and ordered based on reviews. The pasta was overcooked (not al dente, easily broken) and the sauce to pasta ratio was way off (too much sauce). The tomato sauce was tasty (lots of roasted garlic) but at the level of a "better" pizza joint, not high quality restaurant.

Wonderful Italian Restuarant
Whenever we come into the city, we always try and eat at Trattoria Alba. The staff is so accomodating, and the food is delicious. Their prices are so reasonable. The wine list is excellent. This is place is a gem.

Great food, beautiful restaurant
Ate here for dinner - got seated very quickly and received kind service from the staff. Food was delicious, and pretty cheap as far as NY restaurants go. Definitely recommend for good Italian in the area.

Neighborhood Favorite
By far the best italian in the neighborhood. The staff has been there for years and takes care of their guests. The food is consistently delicious and we've been there about 20 times. They always make gnocchi for my husband off of the menu. The decor is nothing fancy, but stately and comfortable. Great little mid-week neighborhood gem.

Subpar Delivery
Delivery said it would take 20 minutes. 40 minutes later, the food came and it was barely warm and the wrong order. Chicken parm with no pasta, or red sauce with the chicken

Value, great and consistent
Been there 50 times always great food at a fair price. The wait staff is right there and the specials are great...whoever wrote the review about it being pricy does't eat out much in NYC,,,this is a great value for the complexion of what you get. Rusty. NYC E 34th Street Resident
