How Much For A Steak Sandwich??
Can't believe a diner can charge these prices. And the pictures on the wall are hung crooked. Save your time and money.

Charming, friendly and yummy!
My first time at Tramway Diner, got the Santa Fe wrap and a hot chocolate, both excellent. Great art deco booths and a curious mix of Greek decor with a few roosters. Will try the chocolate chip pancakes next time. Friendly waiters, unrushed service. And check out the cute mini-tramways hanging from the ceiling. Great location, Bloomie's is an avenue down, Betsey Johnson is next door, the tram to Roosevelt island across the street. For dessert, walk 8 blocks down to Buttercup Bakery for a divine cupcake.

Diner with good food, relaxed atmosphere
Their salads are very good. I usually get sardines on a bed of lettuce and tomato and they add green pepper and cucumber too. Their sardines are the best. Pancakes are yummy too. The waiters are pleasant as well and they never rush you.

Great food, Friendly service
Fantastic chocolate chip pancakes with the mocha Frappuccino. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy.

Best Chicken Salad in NYC!
This is the best diner on the 60's East Side. Their food is consistent and they have the best Chicken Salad!

Food is ok, service can be good or bad
A little expensive really for a diner, but hey it's the UES. Still they could give better service. It's been there for 35 years so they must be doing something right.

Desperation near the Tramway
Classic diner that leaves something to be desired. Staples are OK but delivered food is not that great. Try Ritz Diner for more reliable diner food.
