Traffic

This place is hit or miss. I will say they have some of the best onion rings I have ever tasted. The sandwiches are mediocre, the salads are tasty but rather small. The big problem here is the service. I have gotten the wrong order on 3 different occasions (grilled cheese instead of grilled chicken was one that stands out) and the waitstaff tends to ignore their tables once the food is delivered. They congregate at the end of the bar and chat with one another, very unprofessional. On my last visit, (which was definitely my LAST VISIT) I walked in for a quiet lunch (a rarity, because it's usually crowded and rather noisy) and sat myself. (Because there was a large sign at the hostess station that said SEAT YOURSELF). I took a window seat in the back, where two other couples were eating. The waitress came over and informed me that "We closed this section," and I would have to sit in the front. Perhaps not that unreasonable, and I wouldn't have been so put off if others weren't eating there....in any case, I simply walked out, and won't be back. There are too many other restaurants with better food and better service in the neighborhood. I did like their onion rings, though! Too bad.

Came here for lunch on a hot friday and it was decent. I ordered their signature starter which is kind of like a cheeseburger egg roll. They were really hot and burned the roof of my mouth but still tasty. A bit filling for a snack. I also ordered the salmon but it was overcooked (asked for medium rare), the vegetables were out of season. (squash in the summer), it was served with red mashed potatoes and some sort of tropical sauce that didn't go with the potatoes or squash. It was a strange combination. Not really good but not unappetizing either. I'd skip this place for food food and go for drinks and some snacks while watching a game on one of their many TV's.

Freshly back from Afghanistan, I couldn't have had lunch at a greater place. Thanks for awesome food and excellent service. I finally felt at ease after a long tour of duty. This is what AMERICA is all about.

The pesto burger is awesome, fun drinks.

When I entered this bar I was blown away by the fantastic industrial design of this place. Attention to detail is amazing. Great open space and plenty of TV's to catch a game. Great bar food. Loved the cheesburger rolls. Will make this my new meeting place.
