We used to visit this place all the time usually during th day for their lunch special. Service was always sub par but the food and drinks make it worth it and at $12 lunch. Well we just came here and they got some chef who is in the biz a few years and thinks he's hot shizzle. Food was not good. Menu is changed. Prices went up and service went down. If the new chef sticks around, run. Good for drinks tho.

I went with a group of friends on a thusday afternoon. We first sat by the bar and waited for the rest of the group to arrive. While we were waiting we had some drinks and hands down I had the best margarita ever. made with real lime juice squeezed right there at the bar and patron silver! The food was good but pricey. If you order their prix fix lunch special for $ 12.00 you get a better deal. Overall nice restaurant,amazing margaritas!

this past weekend i went there for a friend's bday celebratory dinner. We waited at the bar first for everyone to arrive and ordered pitchers of sangria and some guacamole. the sangria was really good,prob the best thing the rest has to offer- and its a great bang for the buck. At about 23 dollars a pitcher you get close to 8 glasses! well all went downhill from there! since it was a bunch of us we decided to order various appetizers to share and small entrees since we figured we would prob be full off of all the sangria and appetizers. However the apps never came! they brought out our entrees ( i ordered the ceviche appetizer, again figuring that after eating all the apps and taste testing i prob wouldnt be that hungry- and it was literally 3 tablespoons of ceviche!) when we alerted the server that we never received our apps she responded with this puzzled look and said she would return. Well 15 minutes later the "manager" returns and tells us that our apps were sent to another table (there was another larger birthday gathering happening a few tables over). by this time we are all so tired that we just ask them to bring out the cake and we were gonna call it a night. the server brings out the cake, no knife, no plates etc. I ask her to bring some and she grunts and takes the cake. she cuts it up in 8 GIGANTIC pieces and serves it. Mind you- we purchased this cake separate and it was $$. we all took two bites and couldnt finish because the pieces were so big. so basically the cake wound up in the garbage. for all our "trouble" the "manager" send us over a round of patron shots (coffee yuck!) and our bill.
