    Best pizza in NYC

This is real NYC pizza. Delish. If you like Papa John's etc. this is not the place for you.

    Salty and Gross

Dough was so salty and thick that another patron came up to us and asked if it tasted bad for us too. Pizza looked like it was made while riding on top of a Hummer through Afghanistan. Waiter gave us 15% off, which was nice, but does not make up for the fact that the pizza was disgusting.

    overrated

Pretty good, but have had better pies. Was back in the city on a return home. I gusess somehow things are not as good as I wanted to remember. The atmosphere was nice, sat outdoors on 2nd Ave on a nice day, the service was quick and professional.

    greaaaaattttt!

married to an Italian man to knows his way around a good pie and this is a good pizza with excellent pepperoni, very fresh basil, good quality mozzerlla and if you order they also have excellent roasted peppers anipasti. We come with small children & the staff is very nice.

    Most Overrated In Manhattan

Totonno's has a great reputation in Brooklyn, but this pizza is simply terrible. It's dry, dry, dry. And the prices are through the roof. I just don't get it. Other food items are mediocre at best. We tried it twice, and that's it.

Worst Dining out experience of my life

The atmosphere reminds of a highway rest stop restaurant in West Virginia with no ambiance whatsoever. The menu was plain and had your basic Italian dishes and pizzas. I got the Pasta Bolognese and my bf got a vokda sauce pasta dish. Neither was good. I ate about 1/10th of my meal. His had a little more flavor, but it was mostly from the spicy sausage that was in it. Now for the service. The busboy was more of a server than our waitress was. We were waiting for 15 minutes before she even came to our table to take the order. The food came out pretty quick. Our waitress never came back to check on us until we had to hunt her down to get the check. It would have been understandable if she was busy with customers, but she was standing around in the back of the restaurant chatting with the other people that worked there! Our bill came to $44, an average price for 2, but you can get a MUCH better meal at any other italian restaurant in the city.

    Overrated!

How do I want to love this place? But they just won't let me. Pizza is tasteless. Where do these flowery reviews come from? Did they think they were reviewing Lombardi's or Joe's, or John's of Bleeker? Pies are so bland, and what's worse, way, way overpriced. The rest of the menu is not good. Subpar food that's badly overcooked. Not a good choice. I wanted to love this place, and they just wouldn't let me.
