Never Again
Our extended family gets together for pizza about every month to celebrate a birthday and we always hit a pizza joint. This used to be a favorite until last night. First, they lose our reservation for 15 people so we wait. Not a big deal. Our waiter was kind, but spacey. Not a big deal. We order a ton of food. They come back and tell us they've run out of certain toppings. Then they tell us they've run out of antipasto. At 7pm? An Italian restaurant? We bring a cake for a 5-year old's birthday. They tell us they have to charge $3 per person if we cut the cake in the restaurant. We complain and the manager says not to worry about it. Then they charge us any way after spending a few hundred dollars on food. This place used to be good, never great, but now we'll never come back again.

Like Someone Was Playing a Joke On Us
We ordered a pie tonight for pickup as we were near the restaurant and figured, why hassle with delivery. Not thinking to check the order, we of course got home to find they had given us the wrong pizza. I called them and when I explained that we'd been given the wrong pizza, the guy said "oh yes, I see that". He offered to put a new one in and asked if we could come pick it up, which I declined as I didn't need another trip out on a hot night. Needless to say, the 2nd pizza was wrong too. I don't know who is working in the kitchen, but they clearly don't know which toppings are which. The manager was apologetic, but we decided to take a refund instead of a 3rd shot at another pie.

unimpressed
brick oven pizza does not necessarily mean better tasting pizza; it's the ingredients that make it . This place didn't impress me at all and was way more costly than good pizza should be. I'd try Nick's in Forest Hills (that's Queens folks, on the F train). Better ingredients, gas ovens and better tasting. There's no comparison.

not sure what's going on
the pizza used to be really good. this is no longer the case. we ordered today to see if it had improved since last time, and it was the worst one to date. also, the person who took the order was really rude. unfortunately, we will not be ordering from here again.

Used to be fantastic - not so anymore
My husband and I used to think Totonno's was amazing. We loved the pizza, the low-key neighborhood vibe of the place, the decent beer and wine selection and the familiar, friendly staff. Unfortunately, things have changed over the past year or so: the pizza, wine and beer are all more expensive, but definitely not as good; the atmosphere is more noisy-bright-Chuck-E-Cheese-like; and the staff is more hassled and unfriendly. We moved across town almost 2 years ago, but off and on would still make the trek to Totonno's. After another disappointing meal there this past week, we've decided it's no longer worth it.

Waste of time & money
Nice staff, but horrible food. Extremely bland and disapointing. Overpriced and definately not worth your time.

Overpriced
The best word to describe this pizza place is - overpriced! We ordered a half margarita half blanca pizza along with a salad, and the total price was over $40 w/ delivery. The salad was average, and the pizza was tasteless. Overall, we were very disappointed in this pizzeria.
