True to previous reviews, you get a lot of food for you money, and most ingredients seem relatively fresh. As good as it gets for this genre. BUT the salsa ranchera was really bad. Sweet, watery, inedible. So what is the point of all this rice, beans, and fresh tortillas, without a good ranchera sauce?

Try the steak nachos and tell me this isn't the best deal in Manhattan. Shrimp nachos are second best. But do buy your own salsa, theirs is awful and watery. With a side of black beans and sour cream (yeah, skip their guac, too), a better meal for the buck can't be had anywhere near Wahi and most probably beyond.

This place is cheap,plentiful and tasty. I usually order their Combination Platter with Steak for under $6. Steak is tender and juicy and not dry at all. They give you plenty for the price. Delivery is fast, food usually gets here warm, altho i do live only 6 blocks away. Whenever me and my roommate decide not to cook or have had a long day, a little bit of mexican that is yummy and fresh hits the spot. The guacamole isn't that exciting, but for what youre paying, it is allright with me. I suggest everyone try it at least once. I've never tried the tacos or nachos, but the combination platers so far have been great.

Decent, predictable cheap eats. I like the tacos and the burritos are ok, but the fajitas was very disappointing.

i live about 12 blocks away from this place and i have to say that their food is great...i love the nachos with chicken and the jack cheese and chicken..even their grilled steak/chicken with french fries... great great great... i have not been to the restaurant but their delivery is great to me...you won't be disappointed..you get good food good amount for cheaper then any other place...can't beat that! (oh! delivery is here! g2g lol)

I ordered based on the reviews. I know reviews can be planted or bogus, so I order from a new place really not expecting much. Except I expected a little more than I got, in this case. Not so great. Nachos were edible, tacos not so much. I had it delivered 20 blocks away, so that could have affected things. I usually make my own Mexican--it's easy (at least tacos and nachos are) and it's fresh. I should have whipped up something, anything, last night. The search for WaHI Mexican worth paying for continues. Maybe I'll freeze some stuff ahead of time so next time I want Mexican I can just microwave....

Mmm... What can I say? If you want the best there is for under 5$ in New York town, this is your place. They'll get the job done, with honors, no questions asked, no comments given... Give these brothers a try! You've got nothin' to lose, except your misconception that cheap, good food in New York is impossible to come by. Half a fried chicken for under 3$. Badabing... you know the rest!
