When I used to work a block away from Topaz I ate there once a week. The service during lunch time is quick. The food was never disappointing. This is not an upscale Thai place. It is indeed a low-brow kind of place but offers great food, quick service at a bargain price. I highly recommend Topaz.

It's a pretty small restaurant, but the food is great! I especially recommend the Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum soup. It's a great value for the quality of food, which is very fresh and delicious!

Wonderful food with a wide variety of choices to please everyone. Dishes can be modified. Atmosphere is very cozy - small and nicely decorated, dim lighting. Prices are extremely reasonable - don't pass this one by!

Low-brow service / atmosphere, but for the price and the quality of the food, who cares? Highly recommmended for good food, casual environment.

We received poor treatment during lunch. The two servers were angry, hostile, impatient, and unfriendly. I don't think I need to say anymore about what a disappointment lunch turned out to be. Being a regular customer for Topaz, this experience will really let me avoid what use to be one of the best Thai restaurants in Mid-town.

Chose a cozy seat for two... Shared the wonderful Thai flavor with a love! It is soul food. Awesome taste and environment! Truly Topaz!

Came across Topaz via rec. from hotel concierge during a 5-night visit. Had dinner here 3 of those nights. Loved the food, service, atmosphere & value. Highly recommend it.
