Small space could use a little updating, but the food is exceptional in both taste and value. Try the Tom Kah Gai and Peanut Curry. The best Thai in the City and I've had them all.

Definately among the best thai restaurants in the City. The food was delicious! (especially the Bangkok Shrimp and the Jungle Curry) Although I wasnt a fan of the Pad Thai, but the service is good and restaurant and small and quaint.

I was looking through MenuPages for a place to grab dinner with a friend after work and that's when I found Topaz. Great food and service! Try the pinapple curry and save room for coconut ice cream for dessert. Yum!

I discovered Topaz with friends when looking for an inexpensive dining option near Carnegie Hall. It has since been "discovered" and is generally packed in the two hours pre-concert. Make a reservation, and if you are looking for something a bit romantic, reserve the table in the front alcove early! Food is good, service can be a little spotty when busy, and try the appetizer called Winter Shrimp. YUMMMM. And for those trying to catch a curtain, this place is also quick (except for those shrimp -- they take a little time to prep). I highly recommend Topaz!
