Tony's is great, the pizza is always delivered hot and fast, everything is fresh. I tried the baked ziti and on a scale from 0-10 I give it a 9.5. It is made with ricotta cheese which I don't have to ask for since they already make it the best way possible. They are also friendly and polite.

Tried this place out after seeing some of the reviews which are a lot older. This place is not all that. Sauce and cheese were subpar. Pizza tasted like frozen pizza I can make at home. I will probably not go back...NY has no room for subpar pizza!

Great local pizza shop. Definitely the best in the neighborhood when you want a fresh pie delivered. Prices are fair and the food comes quickly .

I used to be a regular at a Pizzaria a block up the road, until one day I stumbled across this place. I have never looked back. Best cheese pizza EVER. I go there several times a week. Ask them to "just warm it up"---you won't be disappointed.

Quite a few years ago, place was known as First Avenue Pizza. Then it became Tutta Pizza, and for the last three years or so it's been "Tony's House of Pizza." I've read the other reviews posted for this place, and unfortunately I could not disagree more. Back when it was First Ave. and even Tutta pizza, the slices were quite good (i.e. tasty without being overly greasy). Well, I hadn't been to Tony's since late 2005, when I gave up on it because the pizza simply wasn't good anymore. I figured I would give it another try this weekend. Nothing has really changed since then. My plain slice fell apart the second I picked it off the paper plate, and the cheese collapsed in a sad heap. To boot, the crust was undercooked and unpleasantly chewy. The pepperoni slice tasted like it had been sitting there all day and was so oily that my fingers were completely soaked by the time I got halfway through, which was when I tossed it. Sorry, but this place just doesn't cut it at all. Oh, and also, the plain slice was $2.10 (what purpose could that extra ten cents possibly serve?) and was significantly smaller than standard NYC slices by a good 5 or 6 bites. At least the staff is pleasant. The back area is not as clean or well-lit as it was a few years back.
