Tony's Pizza
Being a long time Inwoodite, I have had food from every pizza place in the area & can tell you from experience, Tony's is the best. Tony's has, hands down, the best you can find in the neighborhood. so what if you have to wait a little extra time because you want it super fresh & just made. that happens anywhere you order from.

Great for Delivery! Quality food
I Read the last Review and I have to disagree. Tony's is pretty fast considering everything is made fresh. If you want a pie 15 minutes after you order it then order frozen from Dominoes. If you want fresh you gotta wait a little longer guys. The Gyros, Greek salads and all there Greek Dishes are great. The Italian dishes are very good. The italian sandwiches and the pastas with Meatballs, Sausage, Chicken, and veal are GREAT! I tried them all. So I give them a A and I am glad there are serving our neighboorhood.

Lousy Delivery
DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THESE PEOPLE! I ordered a small pie at 9:00pm and it finally arrived at !0:25pm ! Although they gave me two extra cans of soda, the pizza looked like the delivery guy dropped the box! Their pizza is good but you are better off picking it up yourself.

Great Place
Everyone knows Tony's. He been in the neighboorhood for 45 Years. He took over this spot 5 yeears ago. He just started the ONE DOLLAR slice of pizza and the 2 for 3 dollars on the weekends. To help out the young ones to afford a slice after school he said. Tony's pizza has a great menu and lots of diferent Greek and Italian foods. It's small and cozy and always fresh ingredients. Its a great pizzeria. Probably one of the best. You'll See for yourself. Go check it out. There on face book too at Tony's Pizza and Gyro.

The real thing
I really like this place, and it's not because I share the same name as the establishment. I've always found the staff not too pushy, compared to the pizza joints downtown that are too cool for school. What you see is what you get at Tony's It's your typical straight forward New York pizza joint. They have a few fancy pizzas, nothing too out of the norm, and they have a pretty standard spread of New York/Italian basics. In addition, their patties make for good eats wile you're running to the A-Train. Sandwiches are equally as good (nice and crispy, if that's the way you like them). All and all, this place is one of my more favorite standard pizza joints In(the)Wood. Great for one of those cold windy nights when you don't feel like going out to pick up some food.

Run of the Mill
This is a run of the mill pizza joint for slices, the crust is too doughy and not crisp enough for my taste, and the sauce is too sweet. They have a handful of other dishes. It's not a bad spot to sit for a quick snack, but the food is unremarkable.
