Our experience at Tony's was excellent. The food was delicious! The value could not be beat in times square. Our entire meal, including 4 bar drinks, a salad, bread and main entree was around $60. We will definately go back the next time we are there.

Tony's is a great NY restaurant. Last night we went before the theater and was thrilled that we strayed from our regular dishes. The waiter suggested 2 specials..and they were fantastic..pasta cooked perfectly, shrimp, chicken ..all excellent. Excellent service..the waiter asked if we were going to the theater and made sure we had plenty of time. ould get noisy..but worth it!

We came here for dinner with reservation on Saturday for 6:00. You need reservation or the wait was over an hour. Food excellent as always. Best value I believe in New York city for a nice meal. You are out in less than an hour with dessert. We sat in the back so the noise was not a problem.

not as expensive as other Italian restaurants in the city, but as good food as you will find anywhere else. gets very crowded on weekend nights and around the holidays, but if you don't mind a little noise then it's definitely worth it. reservations are recommended as the wait can get upwards of 30 mins for non-reservations, but they have a great bar while you wait. the staff are always friendly and attentive. i've been living in new york city for 20 years, and this is by far my favorite italian restaurant.

I visit NYC twice a month to see shows. One of those times we try a different restaurant - the other we return to Tony's. Their food is always excellent and the taste never varies. The service is professional and doting. The managers are attentive and generally (when the place isn't SRO) stop by each table. I've seen Broadway stars there and NY Radio and TV personalities as well as sports stars...there MUST be something good there! If you are looking for an intimate dinner - eat atmosphere somewhere else -otherwise - I've yet to be disappointed.

My daughter and I celebrated her 32nd Birthday with a Spring Awakening matinee followed by dinner at Tony's on May 10th,2008. Arriving 20 mins. early for our 5:00 reservation, we were promptly seated. Our waitress, Elizabeth, made us feel right at home immeditely with her down to earth approach to service, and descriptions of the days specials. We began with a hot antipasti for two, which featured stuffed mushrooms, baked clams, grilled shrimp and eggplant rolantini. For our pasta course, we chose one of the specials,a lobster and crab stuffed ravioli, sauted with shrimp, arugala, endive and cherry tomatoes in a white wine garlic sauce. Impressive presentation with black and red striped ravioli, swimming in all of the above. Our main course, another special, was two large breasts of chicken, wrapped in prosciutto ham, roasted red peppers, and mozzarella, surrounded by 8 jumbo Shrimp wrapped in prosciutto ham and served ala francaise in a wine and garlic sauce. We also ordered a side of escarole and white canolli beans in olive oil and garlic. Desserts were a tray of 6 mini cannolis, with whipped cream and berries, and a chocolate mousse/vanilla ganache cake. All of our [select]ions were outstanding from appetizers to dessert. Not one thing to complain about here. Family style servings were enough for 3- 4 people, and we brought home enough leftovers to have another great meal Another shout out to Elizabeth, our server, who was super attentive to all of our needs and requests, with a warm and friendly style. A great waiter/ waitress can make a world of difference in your NYC dining experience, and Elizabeth did just that! Highly recommended and we certainly will be returning to Tony D's again.

We ate there on Jan.13. My husband son and I went there after a show. It is a meal that is always great you can couint on that. It is the only place I can get both my son and husband to eat veal. The marsala is wonderful as is the baked clams and spaghetti marinara. Although everythind is wonderful we always sem to go back to the same meal beacause it is just that good.
