Tony's Di Napoli
Posted by Kevin L. on 02/22/2005
My dad and I had been walking around the city for about 12 hours on an empty stomach. While heading up to our hotel in the heart of Times Square I noticed the bright red Tony's sign from across the square. The atmosphere is busy and loud, but warm and inviting at the same time, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. One unique spec. about Tony's di Napoli is the way they serve food, in a family platter. You can order a la carte, but the family platter is much more generous, but after the first bite you'll want it all for yourself. We had calamari to start which was amazing, but the best part was the marinara sauce! It was the best marinara we ever head, and we eat Italian a lot. We were taken aback by how incredible the Chicken Parmesan was! The Best I have ever had, this is not to be missed! You have to try Tony's and get a real taste of New Yorks Italian heritage!

I can't imagine any food being better at any price and Tony's is VERY reasonable. The staff is very friendly, and they treat me and my wife like king and queen!

We stubbled upon Tony's as we were wandering around Times Square. Judging by the lively full look of the place we didn't think we'd be able to get a table! We had our three young children with us and didn't want to wait too long. They seated us quickly and we had one of the best meals we'd ever had. The atmosphere was wonderful. Young and old alike all enjoying the food and engaging in lively conversations. The staff was very friendly and great! It was our first night in NYC and I can't imagine any place better to begin such a fun adventure.

This was an incredible experience and made our trip to NYC. Mike T., our waiter, was the best EVER. The food and wine were great as were the cannoli Mike recommended for dessert. Mike was such a sport - he actually talked to half our family members back home on the phone! Please pass on the word to Mike that the five Italian sisters from Arkansas thank him for making our experience so enjoyable. Wonderful restaurant, wonderful food, wonderful service!!

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. Very good value, very good food, and a warm, caring, and attentive staff made for a night to remember!
