Tony's Di Napoli

My daughter and I shared the penne and broccoli in garlic infused olive oil--$17.95 for more pasta than we could possibly eat--it was fantastic--simple but delicious. The service was very good and the Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio was a nice complement to the dish. I would go back the next time I am in NYC.

The reviews I read about Tony's overhyped the quality of the food. The food was good...but not great. To say that it was one of the best the city has to offer is a misstatment however. It is to overlook true new york restaurant jewels. The food was good, everything was fine, except the eggplant parm. But nothing that would classify this place as one of new york's greatest.

I have been going to Tony's for about 2 years now. Everytime I come to the city to see a show or just walk around I have to stop by and get the Calamari and Caesar salad. Unreal amount of food, great atmosphere and as an Italian who is very picky about her "sauce" - possibly the best marina sauce I've ever had outside my mother's house. Try the hot antipasta- you will love it! Eggplant being one of my favorites also as well as the broccoli over pasta. Go with a group of people- have some wine- and don't forget dessert...mini cannoles are spectacular!

Five years ago, Tony's was my then-date-now-husband's ace in the sleeve. He knew how much I loved a good Italian meal Ever since, we've been going there for casual dinners, for his graduation, for my birthday, you name the occasion and we went there to celebrate. They make the best caesar salad, baked zitti bolognese, chicken parmigiano (to name the favorite), and you cannot leave without having their delicious ice cream strawberry shortcake. Wash all this amazing food with their best sangria. The only challange is being able to walk when you're done:) If you love Italian food, you must have Tony's. Buon appetito!

I have frequented many restaurants, but few can compare to Tony's. The people are lovely(especially a hostess by the name of Renee, she is an absolutely lovely person), the atmosphere is great, and the food is the best Italian food I have tasted in many years. The service is pretty good also. You guys at Tony's have done a magnificent job, your staff truly deserves a lot of praise. Keep up the good work and I'll be there soon.

I am a regualr visitor to NYC from Australia. I have eaten in Italy and Melbourne where some great Italian restarants live. Tony's was recommended to me by a friend here in NYC last year. I have dined at many NYC restaurants, but have to say Tony's is by far the best I have dined at. Fantastic flavoursome food. Great staff, and always filling. I could not recommend this restaurant enough, for either eat in or take out. It is a must for anyone dining in New York.

I went to Tony's on the recommendation of a friend. It's honestly the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The food is fantastic. My advice it to get anything with marinara sauce. It's easily the best sauce I've ever had. The food is served family style, and someone ordered the eggplant parmigiana my first time there. Even though I'm not an eggplant fan, I couldn't get enough of it because of the sauce. Now I order eggplant every time I'm there but I'm sure the chicken and veal parmigiana are every bit as good. The wait staff is excellent and they always seem to be able to seat you fairly quickly even if you don't have a reservation. Do NOT miss this place.
