    Vegetarian options need improvement

My office is located directly beside Tonic. I used to go with some frequency with out of town business guests. The last two times the food has been unappetizing. The veggie burger recipe has clearly changed. The last time I had it, it tasted sour and had a ton of cayenne pepper in various places. It was inedible. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup recently. The soup was bitter and served way too hot. The sandwich was cold, hard and had very little cheese. I'm giving this place one more shot and trying the $10 pizza. I hope I don't wish I walked across the street and spent less. How about some Mac n' Cheese on the menu or a better veggie burger? The recent change in decor provides some of the most uncomfortable seating.

    surprisingly Great brunch!

I was looking for a reasonable brunch spot near the Theater District where I could meet my parents. This sports bar has a surprisingly great brunch. My mom had an asparagus, bacon and cheese fritatta that had a side salad and mixed berries. My dad had great brioche French Toast (also with berries). I had a mushroom goat cheese omelet. Everything was tasty and came quickly. The coffee was nice and strong. Plus they had football and soccer playing on the 6 huge screens behind the bar (luckily on silent). The booths are roomy and all seats face the screens. All in all high recommendation to tourists or locals.

    Better than ESPN!

My girlfriend and I was looking for an alternative sporting venue other than ESPN. Tonic was a wonderful find. The food was stanardard bar grub, nothing to write home about. However, the place is fun and should be visited by all die hard sport fans!
