Best quality sushi
Its quite frankly the best quality fish around. They prepare it traditionally and at reasonable prices. Its got a no frills atmosphere, but as long as you dont mind the line its the best sushi around.

Still trying to recover
Aside from our apps, which were decent, the sushi/sashimi that my husband and I ordered was utterly inedible. We asked the waiter to please not "dumb-down" the selection, which the sushi chef did not. The selection was great: ama ebi, hotate, tako, etc. The quality of the fin fish was appaling. The tuna was torn up, and easily a good three ounces. Whoever decided that Americans need to bastardize the concept of sashimi should be forced to eat what we refused the other night. We couldn't even pick the tuna up!! The toro tartar was rolled into a disgusting ball. Think how handled that makes it! I cringe. Never again.

best sushi in New York
This is the best sushi in New York. After eating here, you won't t want eat Sushi anywhere else. I reccomend the toro sashimi , the yellowtail scallion and the toro scallion roll. Come hungry, be prepared to wait in a line (no reservations) and bring lots of cash.
