Fresh and big pieces
Deifnitely small and always a wait but if you want your money's worth and fresh sashimi, this is the one of the places to go in the city.

Best Sushi In NYC
This is absolutely the best sushi I've had in all NYC! Can't go wrong here. Only problem is that the place is small and you have to arrive early or face a long wait. But it's worth it!

NYC's best sushi, period
I was so tempted to say that it was terrible in this review, just so that no one would go. However, I can't lie, its the best sushi I've ever had... and I've been eating sushi since I was 4. I personally recommend the tuna...its SO good. And for dessert, the bannana tempura. Basically anything you get you'll love it.

The best sushi I've ever had
This is by far the best sushi I've ever had. My husband drove me here right from the hospital after I gave birth to my baby. I needed my sushi fix and craved only tomoe!

mmmmazing
I'm a student. So paying some $35 for a sushi platter (I think it has 10 pieces and 6 rolls) may seem steep, but it's worth every penny! If I wasn't a poor student, I would eat there as often as my paycheck would allow me. But for now, I gotta pennypinch and save, so I can have another amazing outing at tomoe. BTW, they don't take reservations, but the wait's so worth it.

Just like mom would make...
This is the best sushi outside of Japan. The taste is so authentic. Try non-sushi things like the fried egg soup- you will crave it for the rest of the week. I came here with a friend who is not a huge sushi fan, she ordered the potato croquettes, they were marvelous and really took me back to my trip to Japan a few years ago!
