Attend the pasta making class, a must!

My girlfriend and I attended the pasta making class last night and we had a great time! It was one of the better classes we've taken and we really enjoyed the hands on experience. Vince was a great teacher and made the class all that much better. The food sampling & wine throughout the class was nice as well. The lasagna we made turned out great. It was our 1st time there & we can't wait to go back to dine another night...very fun evening!

    great happy hour, fantastic lasagna

Came here on a Friday evening to take advantage of their 1/2 price drinks at happy hour and decided to stay for dinner. Everything on the menu looked so tempting, so had the lasagna sampler so I could try several dishes. You can really taste the freshness of the pasta, and prices are not exorbitant. The truffle lasagna was excellent if you're a fan of mushrooms. If you're a big eater, I'd sat go for a full serving rather than the sampler, since the full serving looked significantly larger. The atmosphere is the perfect combo of semi-upscale eatery and with a casual, welcoming vibe. The design is very modern yet comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Can't wait to go back to try more lasagnas.

    Great Lasagna

Great dinner, the lasagna sampler is a perfect choice for your meal. The truffle, lobster and tommy lasagna were outstanding.

    Lovely restaurant and nice service

Must have passed by this place 100 times and finally stepped in to check out the grub, which was phenomenal. Came with a group of 5 and we started with some lovely malbec wine (under a great recommendation from the owner) and some little flavorful bruschetta dishes with olives and one with beans. Turns out the person we'd spoken to all night who kept seeing us to make sure everything was okay was actually Tommy! He was so sweet, I really like a place that seems to appreciate our business. We were served warm bread with delicious olive oil to dunk in. After a while Tommy came out apologizing for the wait of our food and brought us little salads with cheese, pinenuts and yummy dressing. I was so happy when our main dishes arrived, I really loved my shrimp with fregula. I'd never sampled fregula and it's like a bigger and better textured cous cous grain, the sauce for the dish had nice spice to it and the pieces of shrimp were big and scrumptious. Around the table I glanced to notice my friends devouring their veal dish, seabass with broccolini, the seafood lasanga, and creamy fettuccine. I was very pleased with the wine, the appetizers and the main courses. I also thought Tommy was a swell guy and I hope he reads this review to know how much I appreciated his warm and friendly atmosphere that he tried to create for us.

    Most Amazing Lasagna and more....

This is the most amazing place ever. Not too overdone and the food speaks volumes. We came in for the gluten-free pasta since my boyfriend is g-free but they were sold out. Not to worry - he opted for the short ribs & creamed spinach instead and was in love at the first bite. I had the 3 lasagna tasting dish and opted for Nonna's, Greenmarket & Mushroom Truffle. All three were sooo amazing! Definitely going to go back and recommend to all my friends.

    Great addition to the area!

Really excellent Italian restaurant with more of a LES or Brooklyn feel, in a neighborhood that suffers from a identity crisis. There is not only amazing lasagna here, but a full menu of delicious non-lasagna dishes - Great charcuterie and homemade pastas - even the brunch was great! (The breakfast lasagna and egg / prosciutto on rosemary focaccia sandwich are killer) What makes this place a real gem is also the staff, which is incredibly friendly and the bar beats any of the terrible fratty drinking holes in this part of town.

    Hidden gem!

They have new wait staff since opening and they are infinitely better - really gracious and unpretentious. The food is excellent and they have good weekly deals. Last night our server removed the dessert from our bill for no particular reason, which was lovely. Great food and great service; I highly recommend Tommy Lasagna.
