Great meal with friends or family
I have been here a few times with my family and my friends - i have never been disappointed and everyone I bring is impressed. I find it well worth it and would prefer there to many other places I have been to that are far more expensive for pasta.

So-So
Lasagna was good however, the plating & presentation left a lot to be desired. For a $26 lasagna, I'd like to have it arrive appealing & delicious looking, not like a plain lasagna slapped in the middle of the plate. I was not a fan of the server using an ipad for placing orders...it just made it look like they were trying too hard.

Overpriced lasagna, not worth it
We recently tried out Tommy's, as we were so excited to have a new lasagne restaurant in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Lasagna was fair. Salad had was swamped in dressing. Service was poor to horrific (wait staff brought us wrong entrees/drinks time and time again. The most unsettling part was the noise. We couldn't hear each other speak and we were sitting right next to one another. Plus, there were young children at half the different tables (on a friday night at 8pm), so that took away from the ambiance as well. Not going back!

Great new kid on the block
Definitely worth trying and a great neighborhood gem. Still trying to find their grove in terms of overall service and flow, but everyone was friendly and well mannered. The food was great - definitely unique and fresh.

New Guy on the Block
Lovely atmosphere-brick wall-wood table look. Excellent martini and good beer on tap. The fish apps were wonderful-great octopus and spectacular mussels in wonderful spicy sauce. Amuse of shrimp and lentils needed zip. He had Lasagna nonna which needed lots more cheese and more of the great tomato sauce. Shrimp with spaetzle was very nice, but not gangbuster. We will return becuse the abbreviated menu looked great and the other stuff should be available soon. Definitely worth a try. Well priced, worthwhile addition to the area and the NY Italian scene.
