I am so glad that this mexican place openned in the westside, you just can't find any good mexican restaurants around here including Rosa Mex. I loved the ceviche bar & the baked oven quesadillas. Great margaritas too, not cheap but well worth it.

I was always a huge fan of Julian's food at Zocalo, so I made a point to try his new place in Midtown. Well worth the trip, since I usually do not cross 34th street. The quesadilla with huitaloche is delcious and not to be missed! And his tortilla soup will leave you craving it day after day. The margaritas are so tasty (fresh ingredients makes a world of difference), and with the insane selection of tequillas you should try all of the variations.

We had been reading about Julian Medina's new place and were lucky enough to walk in on opening night. You'd never know it by the amazing food, drinks and friendly service. We loved the ceviches especially the salmon and shrimp, the guacamole with fruit, the pork tacos, chile relleno and pollo toloache. The desserts were also delicious- our favorite, the tres leches with lemon. The decor made us feel like we were on vacation in Mexico-- the closest we'll come this summer. A very welcome addition to the area.
