great mexican food
enchiladas are solid and this is my go to for mexican in the neighborhood.

Yum
The shrimp and the tilapia tacos were so delicious. Really messy to eat at your desk though. The chipotle chicken was okay. It could've been spicier and had less fat in gristle in it. I guess some people like it better that way though. I found the portions for 3 dollar tacos were reasonable.

Great food
For quick lunch food, the quality is awesome! Tacos and burritos are delicous and more authentic than Chipotle without costing more. Really delicious tomatillo salsa and guacamole.This place is always really hot inside though and service can be inconsistent.

Yum
I got delivery so I don't know about the atmosphere, bit YUM! delivery was fast and food came in perfect shape. Burrito was big and plentiful. Pork torta was awesome. Tacos ok- but only cause I dont love tacos :-) Living downtown, you don't get a lot of variety. But it's good food, great value and you will be full for cheap- as Mexican food should be! Skip stone St and sea port and their overpriced crap!

Omg the pork!
the pork they serve at Toloche is amazing! It's in some kind of cocoa/chili rub and I think I'm addicted! Lower Manhattan: Pleas get over Chipotle already! This place is SOOO much better! Don't let it close!

$2 taco tuesday?
I ordered $2 tacos on Tuesday for delivery, they said okay, but when I got them, they were $3 each. I got them on the phone and they said it was for dine-in only now. It must have just started because I got $2 tacos last week. I'm pissed because I explicity asked for $2 tacos over the phone and they didn't say anything. I'm not ordering from them again. They're good tacos, but they're small and expensive. That's why $2 tacos was where it's at. But not anymore.

Cheap & Authentic Mexican in the FiDi
$2 Taco Tuesday's got me hooked, and the cheap Burrito's on Fridays are a great way to enjoy a really filling and cheap meal in the FiDi. Overall its a great place to try authentic mexican food...oh and their guacamole is amazing.
