We just got stung. Overall the food was good enough, not remarkable, and some of the dishes were creative. However, we were taken back when we got the bill as the daily special salmon was way more expensive than their menus dishes. They probably should have mentioned the salmon was $37 --- about $10 above other items. It felt a little deceptive.

The food is fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and the drinks are excellent. Like most reviewers pointed out, I agree that the portions are very small. In the ceviche sampling of 4 ceviches if we received a total of 3 ounces of fish we received a lot. The space is very loud.

Come on! The food is pretty good here, but not cheap for what it is! How come the portions are so small? I hate spending this much money and leaving hungry. If you put a few more pieces of chicken in the tacos, you will still make plenty of money. They are also rude when they seat you. It always starts out in the worst possible location by the front door if you don't have a reservation. This annoys me, especially when they are busy. Plus, they always remind you when they need the table back, what a relaxing atmosphere! I won't be back, please save your money and go elsewhere.

Arrived with a party of 10, sat down and got a strange family style menu. When we asked for the regular menu, they told us parties of 10 or more can not order from the regular menu. Talked to manager who then scolded us because they had a hard time confirming the reservation with us that day. That apparently is when they tell you that you will be ordering from a different menu. Anyway, we got the regular menu, ordered our food and then the mistakes began. Drink orders messed up, food not getting to the table at the same time. One person eating, one person finished, etc. Small orders, not enough food for the price. Brisket tacos very fatty. carne asado tacos flat no seasoning, lechon tacos salty and overseasoned. Not what it used to be! Next time I will go to cascabel.

Food was great but portions too small for being so expensive! I think they need to increase meal sizes.

I don't know why this owner plays games with the tables. Even though the restaurant is empty, he always puts you in the worst possible table. It's a shame because the food is actually decent here so I am willing to pay the high prices. If he cheers up a bit and they use the air conditioner, I do not mind spending my hard earned money here! Cheer up man.

In the winter, it's way too hot in the back room. I am not sure why they overheat the place, but anyone in the business knows that people eat and drink more when it's on the cooler side. With that aside, the food quality is good, but we always leave hungry. The portions are so small here, it's ridiculous. They get smaller and smaller. The quality of the chicken was good, but I do have to say the beef and brisket had way too much fat on them. I would recommend coming here only if you do not mind spending a lot of money to sweat and leave hungry. Buena Suerte!
