Reasonable for tribeca but...
I agree with last reviewer. size has gone down but quality is still good, for now. I feel it is slipping overall but i hope they step up their game. Note: I prefer to get delivery as the room is nothing special. Delivery is fast and well packed, unlike some other much pricier tribeca options. I like the meat as well as the fish Katsu is great as is cod.

has went from good to so-so
This place was good a few years back, but I have been here twice this year and both times I was a bit disappointed at what I got for the money. The portions seem to have gotten smaller and the prices stayed the same. The service is still good, but I am not sure it it will last long.

expensive for average food
I got the take-out and was suprised how little you get for an almost $12 lunch. The salad was stale and ginger dressing was too dense. The sushi and sashimi were ok (although the sushi were half unraveled=sloppy) Otherwise it didn't taste bad, but average. At this price point soup, rice is expected. For Tribeca, Okami is still my "Best" Japanese lunch place and Tokyo Bay hasn't changed that.

Always good, fresh, and fast delivery
A couple times a month we order from here and although we mostly get the same things it is always made with fresh fish and taste great. All of the things we tried are well prepared and we have never had an mix up with our delivery in several years.

Best kept secret in Tribeca
Lived down here for 15 years , there are tons of Japanese but this little hideaway is a great surprise. Great fresh sushi at a reasonable price for Tribeca. Only draw back, BYOB but it makes up for it. Must try

Fast and yummy
I love the veg rolls!!!! Best thing for a party. These guys are fast and yummy. Great deal on the bento box!

best take-out for sushi downtown!
I highly recommend this spot. The quality of the sushi is fantastic, especially for take-out. I've been ordering from here for the past few years and am most impressed by their expediency ---- I've never been made to wait more than 15 or 20 minutes for an order at home. I can't attest too much for eating at the actual restaurant, but the few times I've actually stopped by in person, it's been very quiet, but the service good.
