I've been ordering from here reguarly for a year, and have been slowly falling out of love as the quality has gone down. At first, I was enamoured - the tingling heat in the Sechuan dishes, the liberal use of garlic, chunks of ginger, chinese mushrooms, leeks etc in much else....but the last 3 times I've ordered it's slipped back almost to standard fare with all the aforementioned absent. Please Tofu, increase the prices if you have to, but get better soon!

Very happy that an authentic Sichuan place is around. Dishes are kinda overpriced but ill pay it since the food outstrips any other Chinese within delivery distance. The spicy dishes have that floral flavor of sichuan peppercorns that ive been missing. Mapo tofu was excellent and fish was very good too. Kung pao was one of the best I've had in a while. I especially like that their sauces seem to be freshly made rather than the generic gloopy ones.

This place is soooo good. Spicy, salty, tingly, and very fresh. You'll find vegetables not used at ANY other chinese restaurant in Park Slope..such as baby bamboo shoots, leeks, and pea shoots. Also sauces and flavors not available anywhere else in the neighborhood. If you haven't had sichuan food before try this place out. Order from the authentic sichuan section of the menu and you won't be disappointed.

Considering this is the only real chinese restaurant in Park slope, I am very happy. Is it as good as the ones in queens? No...but some dishes are phenomenal. The triple pepper chicken (ask for it extra crispy!) is amazing. The stir fried string beans with minced pork is sensational. The entrees are better than the appetizers. Is it more expensive than other chinese in the area? Sure.. But is it 1000% better? Definitely.

I ordered the dan dan noodles and ma po tofu. I got delivery so cannot comment on atmosphere or service. The food came quickly and piping hot. The heat level of this food is no joke. It was so spicy!! The tofu was delicious and though the noodles were good, they weren't great. Overall this will definitely be a new go-to place for me. Yum! Not for the faint of spice!

Although I am not a New Yorker and I don't know what Chinese food is in NYC, this one doesn't know what tofu is. The vegetarian meal I had was very bland and tasteless, very few vegetables in the plate, and the supposedly chicken tofu was like small bits of cardboard. For $11.95 plate, this is one big rip off.
