Poor delivery service
While I've ordered food from this restaurant in the past (which was fine), I recently placed a delivery order that was never delivered. I live in Chelsea, which is a stone's throw away from this Toasties location and after 40 minutes of waiting (on a Sunday morning - not prime time for them), I called up. The man who answered the phone said the delivery was on its way. 15 minutes later, my husband calls up and the guy admits it hasn't left the restaurant. My husband hands me the phone and I ask to speak with the manager. There is no manager, the guy asks if I want my order canceled and then hangs up the phone on me. This location is completely unprofessional and does not have good delivery service. Do not bother ordering from here unless its in person.

melt in your mouth
These are the best paninis i've had in the city - leaps and bounds ahead of your typical deli concoctions, and pretty reasonably priced at $6.95. The breakfast sandwiches are also tasty, but a little on the expensive side.

Not recommended
Worst breakfast I've ever had in NY!! I decided to go into Toasties on 51st and Madison before work this morning. That's where I first went wrong. I ordered the breakfast platter very concisely: 2 eggs sunny side up w/runny yolk, sausage, home fries, wheat toast no butter. What do I get after waiting for almost 10 minutes? Bacon (which was burnt and had cheese from somewhere strange stuck to it) and VERY buttered toast. Were the order directions simply lost in translation? I don't think so, bc when he handed me my breakfast, he specifically said wheat toast no butter. Great. I guess the home fries and eggs are ok...

no toast?!
i went into a place called toasties and ordered a sandwich from their 'toasted' menu, only to unwrap my sandwich at work, and what do i find? untoasted bread i guess you need to ask for toast? toast fail!

Don't Deliver?
I just ordered a sandwich since I am on crutches with a sprain ankle. I just got a call from them saying that they are not going to deliver one sandwich to me since it's RAINING?! SERIOUSLY?! I have a sprained ankle. and it's just raining

best salad ever
this place has the most delicious and generous salads you can ever eat. Worth every penny. Since they are very generous with the servings I don't think it is expensive at all

Best Hot Sandwiches!
I love love love their hot sandwiches! I ordered a few for my co-workers as well and they all thought Toasties was a great choice. I highly recommend the Sgt. Sweet Pepper in a wrap! It really is the best sandwich/wrap I've ever had.
