Best Hot Sandwiches!
I love love love their hot sandwiches! I ordered a few for my co-workers as well and they all thought Toasties was a great choice. I highly recommend the Sgt. Sweet Pepper in a wrap! It really is the best sandwich/wrap I've ever had.

Disappointed
Our office has ordered from the Union Sq location and had no food problems until today. 2 chicken classic wraps and 1 roast beef wrap were delivered today that had to be the worst wraps we all had tried to eat. All 3 wraps were totally dried, the chicken tasted like it was hanging around all day. Who is doing the cooking? Seems to me this will be the last time we welcome your service.

Good sandwiches
I went to the 3rd ave one few times. Overpriced even if sandwiches are good. Service is bad. Workers are great but it's a chaotic mess otherwise. Good when the company pays but I wouldn't spend my own money on it.

Food is Good, Service is Miserable
The food is very good and always fresh. The service however, is not. There are many people behind the counter but it seems only ONE of them at a time takes orders so you will have a LONG wait on line. The cashiers seem to be more interested in chatting with each other than waiting on customers. Go here only if you have a lot of patience.

ALICEEEEEE
I used to go to the one in Union Square, always a goodie to hit up on your way in or out of the subway! Then I found the original!! <3 <3 <3 this placeee!!! I always get the Alice on whole wheat wrap and everybody from the sandwich guys to the counter people are amazingly nice and helpful!!! It is by far my favorite sandwich in NY!!!! <3 The one in Union is awesome too . . . but 7th ave just has such good energy . . .

on line ordering and delivery still a problem
they now have on line ordering but it does not allow you to order beverages such as water or soda, only coffe, tea, cappucino, etc. If you call to order you get put on hold and no one comes back to the phone. Deliveries in the past routinely were missing items (the pickles came but not the ordered sandwich) though you were sure to be charged. Getting delivered orders corrected takes over an hour, no apologies ever.

Good Food - worth it I suppose
I go here all the time, and the food is great. The guys who make the sandwiches are super nice and so are the cashiers. There's one cashier who served me a soup, but couldn't take my card at her register, which meant I had to walk to the front. Even though I go there more than once a day, every single day, she called the front to make sure I did not run out with the soup, turning me into a criminal for a measely $7!!! Very insulted by that... but other than that, I still go there. The food rocks. That was annoying though. It's like, c'mon!
