Poor service
I gave the guy my order -- it's not even busy (where they might get so many orders and mess mine up in the process), it's me and another customer who's waiting for his order. The guy makes me repeat it 3 or 4 times (not joking), then gets it wrong! Then when I get to where I'm going -- no ketchup packets, no salt or pepper packets, and 1 napkin -- what was I going to do? Go all the way back for basic items that should've been in my bag along with what should've been my correct order?

Excellent Sandwiches
Great value for your buck...I had the grilled chicken spicy style...was soo delicious and spicy....perfect...will definitely go back....

Great!!!
I ate here yesterday and I have to say it is my new favorite place. It was sooooo good. made hot and delicious to order. It was cheap compared to other places and the people were really friendly. If youre looking for the bottom line this place has some seriously tasty sandwiches at great prices. If you like selection they have an awesome selection of chips and drinks and a huge menu of great food items. You can guarantee a hello and how are you when you walk up to the counter and the atmosphere of the place is relaxed and fun. If you don't believe me, I'll see you there today.

Yum
I live on John St but work uptown, so never get a chance to have Toasties for lunch (I go for breakfast though and they make a good egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich). I happened to be downtown one afternoon though and went in for one of the turkey combos but they were out of turkey, so I got the Popeye on 7 grain as recommended by someone below. I even got it with the sprouts and it was quite tasty. Hope I'll be around more so I can try some of the other sandwiches.

The popeye sandwich on 7grain...AMAZING...i get it without the bean sprouts though because they are gross...but thats just my opinion : )

Best food downtown
This is the best food downtown. The sandwiches are awesome. Perfect proportions. The House Combo is amazing.

Used to be the best sandwich place
I have been going to toasties for years in the past year I have found that the food has not been as good. Its still a good place to get sandwiches but its just OK now, not the best place that I used to constantly rave about.
