The Only Sandwhich Place in Midtown
If you are going to get a sandwhich in midtown, this is the only palce to go. They make very large, amazing sandwhiches. Enough said.

Depending on who answers the phone...
Toasties' wide selection of lunch options depends on who answers the phone. According to one Toasties worker, they have guacamole, according to another, they don't. I call to ask if they have guac that day, and the Toasties girl tells me they don't. Then low-and-behold, my co-worker who ordered from the other room pulls out a side of guacamole from the Toasties bag. Someone she'd asked apparently knew there was guacamole, while lazy girl who I spoke to just told me "no" because, well...that's easier than actually finding out the correct answer to my question. If they tell you the chicken in the chicken salad is "shredded," it really means it's cubed. Apparently this perplexes Toasties workers too. Oh, and I love the part where they forget the ingredients you asked them to put on your salad. Happens every time. You just get whatever Toasties feels like throwing in there at the moment. Or, if THEY want cheese on your sandwich, then by all means, let Toasties do it the way they want. Far be it for a lactose intolerant person to try and send back a chicken wrap coated in mozzarella. That and, they expect you to eat salad with your fingers. See... when you get food delivered, you generally anticipate also getting the standard utensils and condiments in the bag. Open your Toasties delivery. You'll find your co-workers' and your five salads (of whatever Toasties wants to put in it, don't forget) and four knives, and no forks. It makes perfect sense. Moral of this review: Toasties is lazy and inconsistent from day to day.

Great Sandwiches
This place is a staple, we eat out from here 2-3x a week. The sandwiches are all really well made and fresh. The hot ones off the menu are especially good.
