Best salads ever

Great neighborhood spot
This is my favorite restaurant in my area, everything is great about it. The atmosphere is nice for a date or family dinner. The service is great - the owner/manager is SO friendly and treats you very well, the waiters are also great. The food is not too expensive - most things are $8-10 and the food is fantastic, I love their fries - probably the best fries in Manhattan. They have my favorite veggie burger and amazing grilled cheeses. If you're getting dessert, get the apple cobbler (it's mouth watering!).

Will go back again and again
I know they received a B health rating, and I know that their brunch is not so strong, and I know that not everything on the menu is amazing, but I will keep going back for the amazing french fries, great beer selection, juicy texas turkey burger, royal english burger, and chicken penne. I love sitting in the "sweetheart" corner booths, or outside, and just having a relaxing and comforting meal. Good place for a regular night when you don't feel like cooking and want some good food and comfortable atmosphere.

Fine for bar, horror for brunch
Will never go back when the sun is out. Couldnt even get my check for a mediocre omelette. Had to just throw some cash on the table and run all the way home.

Best french fries
Service is excellent - they will even turn volume of music down if you ask - where else will they do that? French fries are fantastic! Food in general very good (try fish taco). The little bar is nice for meeting someone. Great little spot.

Our go-to place
This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Don't expect a super-fancy place--this is where parents can unwind with a glass of wine while the kids eat, or where Columbia students come for $5 burger night. The manager is very friendly as is most of the staff. I'd pick it over other luncheonette places any time.
