We were regular customers for well over a decade - the staff had remained the same and knew us by name, knew our favorite dishes and drinks ... it was pretty "familial". Then a delivery mishap occurred that was not our fault (!!), and a man with a terribly big mouth (he said his name is Tony and that he is the manager) called our home and hollered like a banshee, without allowing us to speak. He finished by saying to do him a favor and never come to his restaurant, and hung up. My, we certainly won't - ever again! (Nor will our friends who were equally as shocked and appalled.) Who would patronize a restaurant that mistreats its customers?!

Tiramisu used to be our regular take out Italian because of its good food and fair prices. But since the New Year, the prices have gone up at least 20%. It's just not worth it to us any more. The food here is good but not great. You can find many better Italian restaurants on the UES at these prices.

I am so happy to have this place in my neighborhood. They are consistently good and I never get a meal that is a bit "off". Pasta is always al dente and the fish is fresh. Want your entree made a little differently? Just ask - they are very accomodating with very fair prices.

everything about this restaurant was fabulous. the manager and waiters were funny, attentive, and extremely flexible. the food was great and well priced. definitely try this place out of all the other italian restaurants on the upper east side!

Went for my good friend's 22nd birthday, had a great time! The food was fantastic, our waiter was so attentive and helpful and the atmosphere was just as good. We called ahead and got a nice table right by the windows, on a Saturday night! Portions are big we had six girls and split two salads and three pastas and it was perfect. My family's coming to visit next week and I already booked a reservation for them!

Excellent little Italian eatery! Each of the dishes that I've tried at this casual Italian find have each been better than the last- pizza traditional thin crust with perfect crunch, pasta seasoned as a mamma mia would, pollo and veal with taste similar to dishes on the Italian Riviera. They cater to your requests and welcome you with Italian hospitality. Very limited outside dining, but when the doors and windows are open all patrons get an al fresco breeze and a view of the open oven fire. Priced on par with their offerings.

We LOVE this place. The service is great, the people that work there are so friendly and accomodating. I have been there many times, and I've gotten delivery even more times. Definitely ask for the carpaccio with hearts of palm and avocado (even if its not on the menu) because it will just melt in your mouth with satisfaction. My favorite pizza is the 4 stagioni, really nice and light but also fulfilling. My favorite pasta is the Spaghetti a la Medici. Such a perfect combination of sauce and meat and veggies. The other pastas (that I've tried) are delicious as well.
