Best French Fries in New York - no kidding !

The food is tastey and the french fries have no competition anywhere. Try the grilled salmon too.

    Not recommended

Food very salty. French fries tasted fat. The cheeseburger itself was ok but fries over-salted.

    great food, great atmosphere

Had dinner there for the first time this week on our way to a Broadway Show. Great service and great food. Would highly recommend the place

Great food. A tad pricey. Worth it.

I work right by this restaurant and I have to say that there are way too many things working in its favor than against it. First off, their food is awesome, and not just for a pub, if you can even call it that. The open faced steak sandwich is probably the best steak sandwich of any kind I've ever had, and that is saying a lot. Secondly, they have over 20 beers on tap. Thirdly, the open faced steak sandwich is probably the best I've ever had. Yes, it's so good, it needs repeating. The Cons? On some visits, service has been great, but this place can be a little inconsistent. Usually you come to a restaurant to be waited on, here, at times you're the one who seems to do the waiting, which can be a bummer if you're in a rush. Overall, this place is definately worth going to, especially if your primary concern is the taste of the food (it's baffling to me how many reviewers on here seem to forget that).

    Good stuff...

i go to this place and grab a drink before my train every once in awhile and it is perfect with delicious drinks and a friendly bartender. i have also been for lunch a few times and while the host is not the most hospitable it does get crowded and some get rowdy. i definitely suggest making a reservation for lunch and dinner. and if you dont relax and grab a drink! cheers! o yeah great food and a nice price- try the salmon! and the fish and chips are awesome!

    Very Very Disapointed

I was really looking forward to eating here but i was so disapointed. The guy at the door was rude, abrupt and looks down his nose at people. When we got to our table it wasn't set there was food on it from the last guests, it tilted from side to side. When we got our food it was ok nothing special, portitions were small by american stantards. Where you are seated the people drinking at the bar are practicaly up on your back they were very loud, it was difficult to hold a conversation. We asked for the check as soon as we were finished because we had enough of this "restraunt". Needless to say we wont go back there again.

    Great Place near MSG

We always had a problem finding a place close to the Garden for reasonably priced food. This is the place. Food is excellent. Service is great! Great place for a burger and beer before a game. Word to the wise---Make a reservation if you want to make it for the tip off or the face off.
