Best delivery in the heights.
Ignore that guy complaining about the delivery. I frequently order from Tio Pio. The delivery estimate is usually 45-60 minutes - which is standard around here- and Tio Pio has never exceeded that when I've ordered. More importantly, the food is AMAZING. Some of the best you can find in the Brooklyn, money aside. When you factor in the price, the value is ridiculous. An order of the pernil, avocado, potato salad, and tostones lasts me at least 3 meals. The pernil will blow your mind. Try it. The mango "shake" is also great in that it's almost pure mango - no dairy involved. I can't recommend Tio Pio enough. (The only thing I can't speak to is the atmosphere, just because I never eat in. ) Bottom line: Tio Pio = the best.

Poor delivery service!
This review is purely based on service! I have been waiting for over 1 hr for my delivery to arrive! I called multiple times and they're absoultly useless in trying to help! I recommend you never order delivery

great food!
Such nice guys who run this place! They are always friendly, remember what kind of herbal tea I like, bring our food out to the patio if we want to sit there and generally make our stay here quite enjoyable. Radio is often too loud, tables are wobbly. But overall, a nice neighborhood hangout.

A lot of bang for your buck
Tio Pio has great rotisserie chicken and you can get just about any side dish you can think of. $6-$7 for chicken and 2 sides can't be beat in downtown Brooklyn!

for a serious lunch
Its nice to eat something other than pre-made wraps and those make your own salads. It is delicious and a good deal for the quality and qty of food.

Nice spot
I really like this place. I still haven't had anything but breakfast here, but I've enjoyed that so much that I definitely want to get lunch here sometime. There's always something cooking that smells really good! Staff has been really really nice in my experience, and although the atmosphere is that of your typical Manhattan deli that has a seating area, compared to other things around it, it's quite pleasant and clean.

First Time Customer
Decided I wanted to have a cheeseburger and Tio Pio was one of the few burger joints close to the office. Co-kers decided they wanted in and they ordered the chicken and rice/salad and also the Ox. I enjoyed my food and so did my co-workers but the french fries werent cooked well enough. Delivery service took way to long but I guess that made sense considering 5 of us oredered food from here. Food tasty and affordable / Service bad.
