    Poor Attitudes

I have experienced TWO very poor incidents at this restuarant. The first time my friend and I were having dinner and the staff literally stood there and watched us the entire time as if they wanted us to hurry up and leave! Keep in mind the restaurant was not crowded and we weren't keeping other people from getting a table. So what was the problem? We had not even finished our wine or ordered dessert and they bought us the bill and were rushing us out. We brushed this experience off. My recent experience was when my best friend and I went to this restaurant for brunch and they brought out nachos as an appetizer but we wanted bread as well. My friend and I asked for both nachos and bread and were willing to pay extra, but the waiter got an attitude with us and refused to give us both appetizers saying that we can either have one or the other, not both, even though we were willing to pay extra. Then I asked the waitress for marinara sauce. She says "oh theres no more sauce left" but then I see her bringing out sauce to other people coming in after us. I will not be giving my hard earned money to this restaurant anymore.

    Disillusioned

went there w/my girlfriends after work and spa treatment ....made it girls nite out. Was disappointed with the food there as it once was very good years ago, when I use to frequent the place. The appetizer and my soup was extremely salty. the guacomole was excellent and fresh.....the drinks were overly priced and very small which was ridiculous....if you're gonna price them high keep the glasses as large as well. My girlfriend ordered the paella, the seafood was cooked very well but the rice was bland. the location, service and ambiance is very nice but very disappointed with the Chef they currently have. I was totally disappointed with my meal and seemed the other girls were not to impressed as well as they left most of it on their plates.

    Fish is terrible

Pros: fresh guacamole (but small-ish portion and expensive - and I'm comparing it to expensive places like Dos Caminos), shrimp appetizers, great location by the window for people watching. Cons: the fish entrees were downright terrible. We returned the bass and the manager was nice enough to take it off the bill, but we didn't eat more than a few bites of the snapper either, which was just as bad. Don't ever get the fish there - it tastes very, very stale.
