    poor delivery service

while the food is good, customer service is lacking. they have decided not to deliver to Avenue D more specifically my building because according to what the delivery person said to the manager: "someone they know works for san loco who knows someone who knows all the delivery people in the area and was held for two hours and blindfolded, bike stolen and robbed of cash". this all happened in my building. I have lived in the east village on avenue d since 2001 and there has never been a robbery in my building, no one has ever been held hostage. in addition when I was called back and informed my delivery was being cancelled the manager on duty said that since it was only a 10 dollar order it was ok to cancel it. it was 730pm and the sun was still out, don't theyknow people on ave. d don't bring their guns out until after dark

Wish this was a chain sandwich shop

I LOVE SANDWICHES. Sucks for me that I live in Brooklyn. The hot (vegetarian) turkey hero (on 7 grain-which is so great that they have it) is heaven in every bite. I don't like the new(ish) space they moved into. Very boring and nothing going on there. They could make it a lot more cozy and hip. Seems a little un-organized and disheveled. I like the little place A LOT better. It had more character. I have experienced them running out of stuff before as well, but yesterday's sandwich was amazing and they were friendly and accomodating. The best part about this place is all the mouth watering sandwiches vegetarians only wish they could eat can be made with veggie meat. Awesome. Open up one in Brooklyn!

I agree with the Previous Review

This place is very bizarre. It always has issues. It always something. They always run out of things..At any given day somerthings out. They have attitudes. Delivery is forevever or they cant. You have to call back. I used to order from Tiny's but no more. Im a shrink and I deal with alot of nuts in my profession, dont need anymore with my food.

    Ran out of food?!

I live across the street from this place, and I've called or been there at least 5 times in the last 2 months where they have "run out of food" or so I've been told by the people working there. For real? A restaruant ran out of food? at 8:45 on a tuesday night? The sandwiches are great, if you can get them to make you one. But I'm starving and they won't even pick up the damn phone. Its ludacris (luda!)

    the guy below is wrong

Tiny's is possibly the best sandwich in all of New York City. I have lunch there almost every day. That is all that needs to be said.

    Fresh Bread?

The place is really cool and the seats are comfortable, however the sandwiches come in these paper wraps that when you take them off the sandwich completely falls apart, and they don't give you any utensils, so it was messy. Also, the bread was so hard I thought I was going to break my teeth.
