    Rice and Beans

This place is awesome. You get to sit down and still get a quick meal for cheap. the rice and beans are amazing and we usually roll with the chicken which is bomb. All you haters need to relax. Best lunch in the city.

    Yum

I went here for the first time yesterday. It's right across from the Science and Business Library, so a good lunch stop whilst you're studying. I had the roast pork with yellow rice and sweet plantains, for which I paid $9. It was all absolutely lovely, and an enormous portion. Considering you can easily pay $7-8 for a mediocre sandwich in the city this is a far, far better lunch. The pork was succulent and tasty, and the pale green hot sauce on the table (which I didn't have to pay for, contrary to a previous review) was outstanding, being somehow both cool and spicy at the same time. I loved it.

    love it.

They do Caribbean right, and the price is right for the neighborhood.

Good price, good fast cuban food

The food is good, the portion's are enough and remember it is like fast food but cuban and more dineresque!

    Rude Waitresses

The food is good but there are a few waitresses who seem to have an attitude every time we go there. They charge extra for the green hot suaces and give an attitude when asked any questions. My coworkers stopped going there because of this . I would personally never hire them for any businness of mine. They will lose more customers because of these women with attitudes

Tina's has to clean up their act

The food is good, but definitely not worth the price and poor service. I was running late to meet some coworkers for lunch so they were seated first. They gave them a 2 seater and was told they would add another table after I arrived. When I got there was no line and I had asked politely if we could get put together at another table. They kept saying no and not giving us a reason why. I thought it was because the waitresses didn't want to share their tip so we told them we would pay separately but they still refused. My coworker said they would speak to the manager, but by this point the waitress rudely said I would have to wait on the line that just formed. I could not believe it! This is not how you do business. I would not come back to this place ever again! So you people at Tina's, get your act together. It shouldn't be that the customer is trying to work with you to find a solution and all you say is no. Your prices are high, your food is good, not great, but if you don't have good customer service people are not going to come back!

    Next. . .

I am over that place already. The portions got smaller as the prices got higher. There are other similar restaurants and buffets around the area with better value and good food.
