To the person who gave a negative review based on a blt, soup and poppers, I believe you have the wrong restaurant. This is a cuban restaurant that does not serve any of the above mentioned items. No wonder you were disappointed. This place has the largest portions and the best spanish food in the area. I absolutely love their fried pork chops and I hate pork chops.

We picked up and brought dinner home. The "chicken noodle" soup was actually chicken orzo and there was barely any chicken or orzo. It was a bland broth full of carrot, onion and potato. I got 2 quarts and they both went into the garbage. I got a BLT, it came with fries, they put it into a styrofoam container and the entire meal was soggy when I got it, the bread was so wet in parts that it fell apart. I also got poppers that were burned so bad they were not edible. After spending our hard earned cash our garbage is full and we are not.

Honestly, How can anyone rate this small restaurant negatively? Where else can you get a meal to keep you full for hours and hours for only 10 bucks? I ordered the Fried chunks of pork with yellow rice and beans with 2 cheese patties and OMFG. I couldn't finish my meal and I didn't spend more than my 'lunch time budget'. The service is amazing as well. When I went into the store everyone was smiling and yea they were speaking in spanish but they were friendly and quick to acknowledge your presence. The manager there Carlos is so kind and helpful, especially when you have no idea what any of the dishes are. I had many questions since I've never had cuban and am allergic to peanut oil and he was soooo patient. This place is great!!

I thought I would order something in for lunch since I was tied up at the offfice. I ordered the oxtail with yellow rice and beans with a side order of sweet plantains. The presentation was poor. The oxtail was tough, the rice undercooked. The only thing that was tasty was the beans. The plantains were stuffed in a styrofoam cup. They were all mushy and greasy
