Overpriced Vietnamese Food
For the price, this place is NOT worth it. They are extremely SKIMPY on their ingredients. I can't believe how cheap they are with that and still have the audacity to over charge their food. The only time I will return is if I have a craving for shrimp summer roll (goi cuon) and don't have the time to go elsewhere. They are the only Vietnamese restaurant in that area and that's the only thing that taste good, even if it's also overpriced.

Hoping for improvement...
Okay, I just have to post in response to Emily's suspiciously glowing review. Yes, this restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood -- fits nicely in that little cluster of places on Classon, and while banh mi are a bit trendy at the moment it fills a open niche in the area. However, as everyone who's eaten there has noted, it's pretty overpriced and a really skimpy sandwich. I mean, one slice of pork, really? And $6.50 for a sandwich that costs maybe 4 bucks at a traditional banh mi place? And in this neighborhood? Yeah, I get that Vietnamese sandwiches are the current rage in NYC, but this is not a sustainable long-term business model. The service is tremendously slow, but okay to be fair, it's still getting started. And I like to support local shops so I'll go back in a week or two to see if things improve. But I do hope the owner reads this, because please please make the sandwiches cheaper and better!! Or I'm afraid you won't have much repeat business.

Just what this area needed
I feel that the best way to describe Tigerlily would be as a boutique (takeout) restaurant. Much like Choice, the seating is limited (and consists mostly of one large table, although there is additional seating for those who would rather not sit with strangers along the sides). The atmosphere is very modern, and due to the small size of this place, it is also very intimate. I ate the chicken curry sandwich, and it was all that I hoped it would be. I will definitely be going back. Tomorrow.
