no disappointments
i was supposed to go here with a date but he flaked at the last minute. instead, i ended up going a day later and enjoyed myself more without a disappointing date in tow. the paper dosa is literally paper thin, crunchy and chewy, and overall delicious with the accompaniments. i also liked the bhel puri very much--the different textures of puffed rice, chickpeas, tomatoes, onions, and other ingredients made each bite tasty and tangy. i would bring a date here, but only if he was worth it. too bad there aren't many qualifiers.

Great, Affordable South Indian Cuisine
After reading the other reviews on Menupages, I decided to give this place a try. I was not disappointed. The food is great (Palak Paneer, my personal favorite, was quite well made, and the wide variety of Dosas is impressive. The Pondicherry Dosa is quite good), the service is good, the prices are fantastic, and the restaurant was packed, yet I did not have to wait for a table. Overall, it is an excellent place for Southern Indian Cuisine, and I recommend taking a date there for a good, inexpensive time.

Even Better Than Chennai Garden
The food's about the same as at the old place, Chennai Garden, but the new joint is much spiffier. The garlic/tomato/coriander uttapam is just incredible food. Bhel puri was great too. Mango lassi exp but excellent, people were slurping lassis of one sort or another at most tables. Dosa was ok on our first trip, fricking great on our second trip. The one drawback is the service, which is warm, sweet, lovely, happy and moderately inept. I think they hired only friends and family, not experienced servers -- they were so nice I couldn't be irritated, and I'm sure they'll figure it out soon.

Good food
Good food, although the menu choices are a bit limited if you expect this to be a South Indian restaurant. The Curd Rice and the Sapadu Thali version are very good. It is a new restaurant, so I hope they are able to keep the quality standard going. The decor and table layout are better than other similar restaurants in that neighborhood. Need to get their service a bit more efficient though. Right now the food wait is a bit longer than what you see in other restaurants.

A wonderful veggie meal
My wife and I were in town for a couple days and a friend brought us here. The food was incredible! We all split 3 appeteziers and 3 curries and were barely able to finish it all. The Behl Puri (my wive's fav Southern Indian dish) was wonderfully crispy and spicy. A very enjoyable meal.

Excellent Food
As an Indian person I am extremely critical of Indian food and find most places bland. However the food here was excellent. Everything tasted so good (I sampled everything on the buffet). You can notice that they use fresh produce - its in the taste. Nice and clean as well. I will be a repeat customer without a doubt.

great food at a good price
Found this place as I was walking by and the food, service, atmosphere are great especially for the price compared to other indian restaurants in the area.
